This was a culvert and construction entrance install in Robertsdale, AL. This site had a few major issues that needed to be addressed in order to get water to flow correctly. A land clearing Co had come in years before and made an entryway by simply filling in the drainage ditch. Since the land Co didn't re-dig and clear the drainage ditch when they left, the resultant flow path of the water had cut a gully down the middle of the property. The entrance to the gully had to be filled and the ditch had to be dug out and cleared to re-establish the correct flow path of the upstream drainage. You can see where we dug, sloped, and cleared the ditch on both sides of the culvert in the photos. And if you look closely at the righthand side of the first photo, you can see the entryway of the gully I mentioned.
